I bought it today and found only one CD in the package...and yet the installer seems to be telling me something about a second CD? I haven't tried running it yet but I'm thinking I can safely assume I won't be able to until I have that second CD. Are there really two CDs?

unfortunately, yes. the first CD is necessary for the actual install of the app and its files. the second CD only contains movies, but needs to be in the drive for the app to run.
