I thought UT was bad on-line at times. Red Faction lags way worse. Anybody got any tips on setting up Red Faction on an iMac DVSE,500mhz, 256ram, cable 512k connection. Set-up at 1000 colors, medium graphics, updated GL from Apple's web-site.
I noticed nearly all servers are listed as incompatible version and others say 'your data does not match that of the servers.'
As usual your help is greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I was on vacation and then when I got back my ISP was having problems.

I think all of your answers are solved in the upcoming Red Faction patch... see http://www.insidemacgames.com/news/s...ArticleID=4494

I hope to be buying Red Faction soon... unless I have more problems with my ISP... damn ISP causes me to spend time debugging their problems.

By the way dr. dirt, you may want to bookmark the Inside Mac Games site. You seem to be into games and IMG is a good gaming site. It may help you solve some of your gaming problems and give you info on future gaming developments.

The new patch is really good, and I'm having better performance under OS X then I am under OS 9!
