How do I get Unreal Tourney to use the mouse wheel to change weapons on my Logitech mouse? I dont think it recognizes it.

Try usb overdrive..I am going to.
I also want to use my mouse to scroll switch weapons.
As of now, it only detects my wheel as a button, not a scroll wheel.

Did you make your custom settings in the USB Overdrive control panel or in UT itself? Make sure you select Input Device in UT's Options menu. I myself could not get UT to recognize the scrolling action on the wheel until I did both. Now I can scroll up on my wheel for "next weapon" and scoll down for "previous weapon".
Hope this helps.

Make sure you remove ALL of your Logitech drivers.
Install USB Overdrive (1.3.7 is the latest version).
In Unreal Tournament, select Input Devices in UT's Option Menu as Stogieman suggested. Or you can hit command-m to bring up the InputSprockets dialog box. Then assign the commands you want with the wheel.

I read that USB Overdrive will not work (that is the programmer wrote it to do nothing) when an application uses the InputSprockets. I also read that InputSprockets is defined for the mouse by the drive for the mouse. So that may be why you need to remove all the drivers to get it to work.
That said I cannot get the wheel on my Macally iSweetnet mouse to work with UT. I'll give it another shot with the tips in this thread.

I just got it to work. My mistake before was that although I disabled the Macally control panel I left the extention on. Once all Macally stuff was off then the mouse showed up in the UT Input Options.

I set up the mouse to work for UT when it is launched. I have the scroll wheels on scroll and keep the rest the same. Every time I load the game, the mouse doesn't move but the mouse clicks.

Did you check the settings in Option->Input. You may have the mouse movement messed up.
