I am currently an owner of a PC, but have decided to give this P-III/500 to my grandchildren and switch to either a IMAC 700 or the Powerbook 667. My problem is that I love to fly WW-II combat flight simulations. (Fighter Ace and Aces High) Warbirds is the only Combat Flight Sim I can find that supports MACs. Can anyone give me any idea how MACs do in Warbirds??

Thanks in advance.

i've not played online with warbirds, but it seems to be ok otherwise.
don't really have a pc to compare it too.

x-plane is another great flight sim, although no ww2 planes i don't think.
hmm.

Warbirds has no big system requirements, so it will run well on both the macs you chose. It will however run better on the TiBook

Another flight sim - Fighter Squadron - is coming to the mac pretty soon too. It is also based in WW2.

Do not buy a 700-megahertz iMac!

January's Macworld is right around the corner. There will be a new iMac with dramatically better graphics capabilities with an LCD screen announced then.
