I'm using an old iMac 266 for the kids (3 & 5 yrs old). All they do is play games on it and OS 9 is doing well for them.

The problem is that they have to change the CD's everytime they want to play a new game, and they have been scratching the crap out of them

Is there anyway to put each game on the hard drive, so they don't have to keep touching the discs?

What I was thinking was putting all the Aliases for the games in 1 folder that they could get at.

Any ideas?

Some games will not allow this (to prevent software piracy) but a lot of the older software titles should be OK. Look up 'Shrinkwrap' or 'Toast' at Versiontacker

OK, this works, but is there any way I can mount these .img images in a hidden folder or in my HD so the kids don't keep clicking on them or renaming them?

Thanks.
