In spring 2002 I will have the fortune of taking a graduate level course on computer game design, and there's a project in the course. So I thought I would take a poll to gather opinions about what style games (arcade, 3D shoot-em-up, etc.) are enjoyed by fellow Mac Users, and what kind of games you all would like to see. That way I could not only work hard to get a good grade but also eventually put out a game that might provide some enjoyment to others.

OK. Let me have it. What kind of game would you like to see for the Mac?

Hi,
while I love UT and a bunch of other games, my current time killers are games like Deimos Rising, Wingnuts and Airburst. Such a cool kind of creative game would be superior. Best with online multiplayer support and please for X too/only.

I like games like Age of Empires, StarCraft and Warcraft. Also a good sports type game for Mac would be cool too.

I would like to see a good old-fashioned side-scrolling shoot-em-up, sort of like the Contra series! Man, that would rule...those were the good old days.

The games that we play the most are Unreal Tournament, Deus Ex, Carmageddon II, Alien Vs Predator, and Airburst.

I do not like third person games (Alice, Rune etc - I have tried these).
