It's being held up by a copyright issue. That can't release it until that's been settled. IMG recently had a news bit on it. Go search there for more info. BTW, AvP is all done. It just needs to be produced.

Thats weird because Ive seen that product for mac available for retail sale in an online store.
Maybe they were jumping the gun a little? They claimed to have stock -- www.gamesmarket.com.au

I too am not buying it when it comes out...Who are they kidding?!?..that games like 2 years old, none of my PC buddies play AvP anymore...this is the SH%T we Mac people must endure...it's a sad,sad time to be Mac gamer i must confess...

dawaves, when has it been better to be a Mac gamer? Maybe way back in the day of the Mac II or something like that, but I think we got it better than ever before. And another point that many other people have made. If you have a Mac just for gaming you're stupid. We have Macs because of the whole package: OS, hardware, usability, aesthetics, sex appeal, etc.

That's why we need more companies like Bio Corp. and pre-MS Bungie. Companies that take the extra time to do simul-releases of their software for Macintosh & Windows. My experience is that it makes better software and a better gaming experience to boot.
For heaven's sake, Bio Corp. is doing a simultaneous release of Neverwinter for Macintosh, Windows, Linux, and BeOS. Can't beat that. 
(Why didn't I include Blizzard? Because the Elephant man could programm batter than they can.)

What are you talking about? I think Blizzard does a great job of making really cool games really well, and the mere fact that they include Mac in their Grade-AAA games is something we should be supportive of.
