ok, so with my old voodoo2 card i could create a .var file that would allow me to set the gamma in opengl games (quake engine baised games had problems).

my roommate has a pos gateway with a tnt2 card, and he needs the same type of correction. is this possible?

i appreciate that this is a mac forum, but i know one of you will know

PCs have the advantage of having 'tweak' utilities for many of their cards - nVIDIA cards are particularly blessed in this respect. I dunno about the prospect of doing it in the same way as a .var file, but at the very least I would expect one of the utilities like NVTweak (I think that's one) should be able to do the job.

Someone tell me if I'm wrong - I'm no expert when it comes to PCs.
