Publisher Delays Mac realMYST
Inside Mac Games confirms that the release of the Mac version of realMYST has been delayed by the publisher so it doesn't conflict with the release of Exile. Ubi Soft ... may hold the Mac realMYST release so that it does not conflict with the launch of Myst III: Exile..."

Okay, maybe that was a bit over-the-top; perhaps I should have said "consumer opinion"?

There are more important things in life than the delayed release of a bloody computer game.
If they decide they are going to delay it due to worries it will conflict with the release of another product, then that is what they have decided.

Just be thankful your precious game hasn't been canned.

Well, it's been several months since the release of Exile and still no word on realMyst. Everybody I know (including myself) who has Exile has beaten it already and I am chomping at the bit for realMyst.
