I am on the level 8 (i think). You go talk to a worker and he recalibrates the couplings or something at a console behind a row of computers you can't use. the timer then starts to count down from 23 or so. i can't figure out where i'm supposed to go.

I played this quite a while ago, but if its the level I think it is you are supposed to stop a truck from leaving the warehouse. The best way to figure outs where you are supposed to be going in Oni is by the yellow arrow that tells you up or down. Then find some stairs. there is a static fork lift somewhere that you use to stop the truck

He is recalibrating the timing in the pulse tunnel. Once the technician recalibrates the timing, you can run down the top of the massive cable to reach the other terminal.

23 seconds is not much time but if you run you can make it. Be sure to JUMP over the weak pulses that still traverse the conduction cable/bridge or you'll be really low on health once you get to the other side.

ya, maybe it's been said, but behind the computer you see a big metal tube with electric currents flowing through it... the gap between the currents is widened, so for a whole 23 seconds you can go accross it

yeah, I figured I had to go across the tube but I didn't figure out how to get there. I then realized I had to backtrack through the door that I came in to find out how to get on the long metal shaft.

BTW it was level 7

Nope, try shooting out the glass with one of the recently dropped spare weapons between you and the pipe. Then you don't have to waste any time running outside. Shoot the glass out before you talk to the worker to save even more time.
