I remember, back in January when Apple announced that the GeForce4 Ti would be available in Power Macs, they also annouced that they'd be shipping a GeForce4 Ti "kit" with an ADC port for current Power Mac users "in Spring."

Well, it's nearing Summer, and I've heard no updates...

With Apple now shipping GF4 Ti's out to people that ordered them for their towers, does anyone have a probable status report on when I'll be able to order the card for my DP450? (and then transfer it into my new machine when I get it in January -- whether it's a G5 or a super-fast G4).

Thanks!
Be happy.

I think not yet. They just started shipping the GeForce Ti's for the people who bought them BTO. I'm sure when supplies are up they will be offered though. Too bad you can't put one in a TiBook

Foot-in-mouth....

On-topic though, I wonder if anyone has tried to flash a PC Geforce4 Ti.

until apple releases the GF4Ti .. and therefore the ROM goes public, the can flashing of PC cards begin ... anyway, I don't see why it shouldn't work.

I would flash a PC GF4 when it was possible if it weren't for one thing...

No ADC port, and since my monitor, the 17" Studio Display CRT, is incompatible with *ALL* converters, I need a card that has an actual ADC port on it.

Which means I must purchase it from Apple itself
Be happy.
