I just got a copy of RTCW for m iMac ($50!) and I was scared that the game would be too slow on my iMac. However, it seems great! I am running at native resolution - anything lower is too blury. Most things are on and it all seems fine so far. I found the same thing with Alice. A lot of people are complaining about the iMac not being good enough for games but I am finding it to be a great little game machine.
Please, buy Mac games. It keeps people making Mac games!

Yes, I know I could buy a PC, but why?

I agree whole-heartedly. RTCW plays great on my new G4 800 iMac. I am thrilled with the power of this system. I havn't tweaked a setting in the game and it runs great. The only reason I would even upgrade my iMac is to put more RAM in it so that I can work from home. Keep the Mac games coming.

On my iMac/800, Alice, RTCW, Elite Force all play great! Now all I want is Bubble Trouble...

It should work great. The iMac has a G4 processor and 32 MB of DDR video RAM. It will run any currently shipping and now dead games just fine.
