It's one of those things that really makes me question why I follow software/ hardware development...either it takes too long or in the case of Fighter Squadron, it is never completed.

Inside Mac Games posted a Q&A with macplay and one of the questions was about Fighter Squadron's developmental status.

What a bummer! I was about to purchase a good joystick just for this game. I stopped playing flight-sims since Parsoft went belly up and was hoping maybe this would revive my interest.

Also, their answer is pretty weak IMHO. That is not some kind of answer you come to after having to code in your hands for about 2 years.

Check out WarBirds III, I'm thinking about getting an account after trying the single player mode. Big download, but worth it. OS X support, really nice graphics too.

They laughed at my Mac, it had no CLI. They laughed at Linux, it had no GUI. I installed MacOS X, and shut them up.

yeah, I'm kinda bummed by MacPlay's lame announcement. Still, WWII Online for OS X is being developed, and that had a flight-sim part to it....

We'll see about that. I am personally feeling another Fighter Squadron....it was supposed to come out last July right before Macworld.

Regarding Warbirds, maybe I'll try it. I was just hoping that the promise that Parsoft seemed to have would be instilled in FS. Anyone really understand why they broke apart? I had heard internal disputes had done it.
