I emailed aspyr about it 2 days ago and got a response within 24 hrs, which I was pleased with. Here is the thread.

"Could you please shed more light on how far away we are from the 1.31 patch? I realise you probably get millions of questions about this, but it is crazy to have just bought a copy of the game only to find that I cant play it on any servers in Australia - of which there are around 30 all with the new patch,

Seriously is it 1 week, 1 month, or even further away?

Your advice would be appreciated - we get 300+ pings to the US from here, and its not playable."

Aspyr Media Support Response

Howdy Jake,

Software development is not something you can pin an exact date on - the release of the game itself proved that. The update is progressing through development and testing, and we will post it as soon as it is approved and ready.

Were I to make a guess, I would think it will be out inside a month.

John

I would like to see this update as well, but not for the reasons you guys want it -- I don't play much multiplayer -- I want Truform support!!! Also better performance in OS X would be nice, it plays terribly in OS X and great in OS 9 -- what gives? Why must every game play worse in OS X?

You have a mac with a Radeon 8500 and RTCW runs like crap in OS X? Flys on my iMac with highest details.

I hope the update will fix the support for dual processors. It doesn't work when you enable it in the current RTCW release.......joe

Nah, that'll go quickly, nothing major, just a few new stuff. We'd still be able to play with them from 1.30 as long as we stay out of certain maps

nopes, first its 1.31, and second the 1.32 patch runs a new protocol and is not compatibel with 1.30/1.31 servers.
