Anyone knows something about a sequel to DeusEx? I really love this game, but now I have played it through three times...

There has been talk of a sequel, yes. First it was going to use the engine from the upcoming Thief 3, but they changed their minds and switched both Deus Ex and Thief 3 to the next version of the Unreal engine - a good thing since neither Thief 1 or 2 came for Mac. Unreal 2 should be here "second half of 2002", so Deus Ex 2 is probabaly even further away, but it will come. Eventually.

http://www.deusex2.com/ doesn't even give a release date, but you can always drool a bit.

I wonder what the storyine will be like.

Maybe aliens will come.

I mean, the global consiracies have already been unmasked right?

Maybe he'll go on a conqueing spree...

He's got to go with one of the three endgame sequences - go with the AI, go with the Chinese fellow, or go with the Illuminati.
wonder which one the makers will pick for the pre-plot of DE 2.

I peeked a bit at the website, and it looks like they're following the path of Denton blowing up the Aquinas hub. Denton merging with Helios would create Utopia - not much fun for a game, really - and becoming an Illuminati... I guess that has possibilities, but the one they used would bring more action.

Deus Ex is a great game - alot of fun and mystery.

It's great that they're going to use the Unreal 2 engine for Deus Ex 2. Hopefully then it will come to the Mac.

Hey, no problem. I actually only paid attention to the info about the games I care about: UT2003, DX2, WC3, MoO3, etc.
