That's f**king funny and you are so f**king right cash. It has taken way too f**king long for the game and you know they are going to complain about poor f**king sales. Well if it didn't take so f**king long maybe I would buy it. Joe

Please calm yourselves. This kind of behavior and vulgarity is not permitted on the forums.

Also, MacNN does not approve of piracy, or support it in any way. Piracy is a restricted topic on the forums.

Sorry guys, I'm just doing my job.

I didn't say I was going to "steal" the game. I just stated I am not going to buy it and thats the way it is. I mean forget that game, no f words for me...lol. I was simply stating that they have missed the mark... they shouldn't waste their time releasing the game now. I won't buy it, my friends won't buy it. Enough said. Joe

Actually, I feel VENGENCE for this stupid company. Macsoft hired some other compnay to port it, I forget who, but I want hem to know I'm pirating the game, and will give it away for nothing off from my hotline server when it DOES come out. I want this company to burn, and go bankrupt because they should have released this a LOOOOONNNNNG time ago, or at LEAST updated their F*CKING website. Is that too much to ask? Update the damn website so we know wtf is taking so long?!

NO! IT ISNT! Whoever is porting this game is a horrible company, and I hope you guys all never get jobs again.

*sigh* I thought this job was gonna be easy...

Normally, were I anywhere but here, I'd be tossing around the f-words and the threats of retribution like nobody's business. But here I am, Mister Boring Responsibility. Everything sean said was, of course, correct. So was (almost) everything Ca$h said. It seems that whoever was in charge of the port really dropped the ball. The least they could have done was notified people what was holding up the port. But they didn't....whether it was due to stupidity, ineptitude, or lack of business sense, I guess we'll never really know. But I don't think it's our place to make judgements without the critical knowledge of what has happened. Wait for the game to appear, and then wait for any forthcoming explanations. And then, make all the judgements you want. But try to refrain until then from making calls on things that we don't know about yet...

And please, keep talk of piracy out of the forums. MacNN is a business, and as such can be held responsible for content that appears on its servers/on its forums. Witness the whole Adobe/MacNN thing from a while ago. If you're a pirate, it's not my place to judge. I also happen to think that it's not your place to let us know...it is illegal, after all. So, for the sake of MacNN, please keep the illegal stuff out of the forums.

Ca$h, I admit that on occasion, you sometimes have some worthwhile things to say.. But at other times.. You just come out with a stream of facetious whining drivel. I don't see why you have to get so carried away about it. There are more important things to worry about than a game that has been out on a £80 PlayStation for well over a year.

Ca$h has a good point here....Like a lot of other people, I was looking forward to Driver on the Mac. Whoever is porting it better be doing a good job because if it is the same as the PC version but slower and uglier no one will buy it.

I dont care; I'm a teenager for 1 more month, and I'm EXPECTED to be pissed off at things. I'm blunt, and i f*cking HATE whoever is porting it. I was expecting this game last may. Phat chance. I'm going to do all I can to kill them. If I had their street address, I'd mail them turds.

I happily ordered Driver for the Mac a couple of weeks ago, and I look forward to November or whenever this game comes out. I have always loved driving sims, and this game is probably the best ever. Now Driver 2 will probably have better graphics, etc. But it won't run as fast on my Rev A iMac with GameWizard. I wanted Driver last Spring too, but I can't be angry with any company that is willing to take the finacial risk of porting any game to the mac. Late is better than never with a game this cool.

James, how can you not be angry?
It is largely because of things like this that Macs are not considered 'games machines'.
That game has been out for years, and is only now being ported. How ridiculous.
I mean, how can the image of games on the Mac improve when games don't even come out on time?
Its all been said, so I won't say any more.

Just thought i'd mention that Driver runs quite nicely using Virtual Game Station. So why wait any longer!? You could have been playing it MONTHES ago on your Macs!

Heh. I already have it for mac.

Trust me, its VERY cool, but I wouldnt say its worth 8 months lateness. Thats why I wouldnt suggest paying for it.

HOWEVER. That opinion is mine, and only mine. MacNN doesnt support it, and would probably smack me upside the head with a wooden oar if they could.
