Err... I think its the beta. Anyway, I downloaded Driver off from hotline, it was about 80 megs. It starts up, and it freezes at the menu screen. It seems like its still working, only my keyboard and mouse dont control it. Anyone know whats up?

There's a reason it's called beta... and the one that's floating around on Hotline is a pretty old one, at that.
Why can't you just be like everyone else and wait for the final release?

80 meg? The one I got was like 400... runs beautifully...
Wait for the final? Why would we do that? That makes too much sense 
And anyway I'm too impatient.

Cipher, does yours have everything? Mine only sports "take a ride" mode, and the cops are kinda dumb. Cant adjust your controls either, and the training courses dont work.

Oh yeah, one thing:
Why cant I wait for the final release? Um. EXCUSE ME?! How much longer do you want me to wait? Considering it was SUPPOSED to come out last SPRING, and its now two seasons later, and STILL nobody knows, I think I've already done enough waiting. And, once i get the final you can all pirate it from me, to piss off those moron programmers.

I'll reinstall and see how it runs. I only tried it out for a few mins, cause I have the PSX vers...
All of the options were selectable though, if that means anything...

We allowed the related thread to stand because the topic was mainly regarding frustration over the delay of Driver's release. However, this thread is purely regarding an illegally obtained beta copy of the game and we will not tolerate such threads. Everyone here should know that such threads are absolutely uncalled for and we're going to make it clear that such threads will not be allowed and admistrated by the staff at MacNN.
