Does the Voodoo4 interest you or do you have your eyes set on another graphics card?

I have a beige G3 that really needs a graphics update. Will the Voodoo 4 work well with this computer? Does anyone know if the Voodoo 4 has DVD playback? Is it a lot better than the Rage Orion, enough to make the price difference worth while? I plan on getting Black and White and Halo when they come out. Will this card be able to handle these games at an enjoyable framerate? Thanks anyone!!! Sorry for all the ?????'s

The V4 is targetted towards "graphic professionals", however the minimum requirement is a true G3 or G4. Pre-G3 systems (i.e. 9600 and lower), even those with a G3 or G4 upgrade, are not supported. Does anyone else find this ironic? The overwhelming majority of graphic designers I know have pre-G3 systems, and I've heard the same thing from most other people. How can 3dfx justify marketing the card to an individual who most likely isn't going to be supported if he buys the card?

I think they can justify that "unsupported" means dick when it comes to 3dfx. I mean, look at how many voodoo2s we mac guys have? And they were NEVER supported. 3dfx rules.
