Okay, I've just got a new Cube, and I,ve transported a load of games via Ethernet/Appletalk to my new Cube.
All my other games seem to be working fine, but 4X4 stalls after the intro movie and I can' figurwe out why this is.
I've got the same software on my Cube as on the iMac (which still runs the exact same game installation fine).
This comprises of Mac OS 9.2.1 and the Beta ATI drivers from Warbirds 3.
The iMac is an indigo 350 with an ATI RAGE Pro 128 8MB and my Cube has the ATI RAGE Pro 128 16MB (don't laugh I'm getting a Cube radeon soon!).
Now there seems very little tech difference between the two cards, so why am I having this prob!!!!
I've done a clean install of the game from the CD (same prob) I've tried minimal extension sets, my Cubes had a completely fresh install (I even Zero'ed the hardrive).
Whats Wrong?
P.S I remember having this problem briefly on a 466Mhz iBook, but I can't remember how I fixed it (ARHHHHHHH!!!!! )

Okay this problem hasn't magicaly dissapeared just becasue no one has replied to my post (insert "Sarcasm" ) and I 'd really like some help on this one as I luv this game, and now that I finally have some descent hardware to run it on, I can't!
So if anyone has had this problem and has sorted it or if anyone knows a (possible?) fix, or a descent 4X4 Mac forum please post.

From the 4X4 Evo forums I've read most people solve there hanging problems with a fresh install, allthough there problems are nearly always attributed to network play, which I have not attempetd yet on the Cube (hell I have'nt even benn able to play it yet on my Cube!) but the answer to your question is- yes, I have, as my first post states, but thanx anyway.
