Big games coming in the next few weeks! Bloodshed a'plenty! What's everybody planning to get?

Or do you all just argue about hardware in this forum?

Then there’s Heavy Metal FAKK2 and Aliens vs. Predators (finally emerging from Logicware purgatory).

I’ll be playing Cro-Mag Rally, for one. Cavemen racing around in fossil-mobiles is just too wild to miss. I'll probably get either Rune or Elite Force as well. And I'm really looking forward to DS9: The Fallen but I suspect we’re not gonna see that 'til closer to the end of the year.

Elite Force vs. Rune would be a tough choice if I had to choose between the two. Luckily, I don't. For those who do, hopefully we'll get Mac demos of both so it won't make the decision so difficult for them (or maybe it will make it tougher).

I've yet to play Rune, but Elite Force is a phenomenal game and I'd recommend it to anyone whose Mac doesn't hide in fear at the words "Quake III: Arena".

I have to agree with Trevor... Rune does look like a VERY awesome game, but I still haven't had a chance to play it. I have played STV:EF and it is a VERY nice game (even if it was on a PC). I'd recommend waiting for some nice reviews about Rune, then make your choice; you've still got time :-)

Fortunately, for me, I have a decent paying job to afford this $500+ Mac Gaming Holiday Season... But I'll probably end up spacing out my purchases. Damn my Rent!
