Microsoft announced that they would be porting of of ther games to the mac platform soon a Macworl expo several months ago and so far I have not seen AOK yet. Any ideas of when I should expect to see this game come to the mac because I love age of Empires?

Expect Age of Empires II: Age of Kings to be released for the Mac in 2001. Peter Tamte is setting up the company that will publish Microsoft titles for the Mac; last I heard, the company was still unnamed.

How is a company that is so unorganized right now as to still be unnamed going to be able to port games by next year? (which, BTW, is less than 2 months away now).

This game has taken too long... it was an interest of mine up until mid-summer, when I got bored of playing it on other peoples' PC's. Never trust Microsoft to port games... by the time we get Asheron's Call (the port that intrigues me most), it'll probably be 2050.

The only current game company that seems to care about the Mac is Blizzard (Bungie sold their soul to Satan). Hopefully WarCraft III and the Diablo II Ex pack will have simulateous Windoze/Mac releases
