I KNOW there is a solution, because I found one when I first downloaded this demo months ago, but have since forgotten.

Tried to run Q3 TA demo on my wife's new iMac. Only app that came with the demo was the "debug" one....it gives me an opengl error.

Q3A 1.17 runs fine, but after updating to 1.27g (? I think), when I try and start team arena through the menu, I get a yellow screen and nothing else.

So, neither method works...I am sure I recall that I have to do something to the config file, but cannot recall what.

Any help appreciated,

Do you have the latest OpenGL drivers from Apple?

Turns out I DO have the latest OpenGL drivers, and that is actually the problem! I am running 9.2.1, and there are apparently some conflicts (http://www.macfixit.com/reports/macos9.2.shtml#opengl).
