"Another downside is that there isn't as much software for the Mac as there is for the PC. Sure, you'll find all the basic stuff, such as Microsoft Office, but there's only one personal-finance program, Quicken, for the Mac. And the biggest shortfall remains in games. Only the most popular titles, such as The Sims, are translated for the Mac, and then often a year or so after they've been initially released.
My advice: Don't consider a Mac if you enjoy playing the hottest new games or need special PC software to do your job. If you value ease of use, then a Mac is for you. Especially if you like the idea of turning heads when you walk into a coffee shop with a tangerine laptop tucked under your arm."

I got this from a busnessweek.com article, u guys believe in this, cause i sure as hell dont, sure the gaming selection for mac might not be as good as pc, but its close and that gap is closing.
Anyway with the radeon out mac rival pc's in terms of gaming performance.

Radeon isn't even available unless you buy a new powermac BTO at the Apple store. By the time you can order an AGP Radeon and slip it in your mac, the PC radeon will probably have 128MB vRAM. Once again, a Mac video card is outdated before you can even buy it. And for the next three years, the Radeon will probably be the best card you can get BTO...it will be laughed at by the time Apple gets around to updating it! Maybe someday Apple will pull their head outta their A$s and try to be competitive.

The way it looks to me, ATI is fully capable of making a bitchin' video card. PC Radeons are excellent video cards and soon they will ship with up to 128MB vRAM. It's pretty obvious that Apple is the ball and chain in this relationship. I bet Apple even vetoed any chance of a 64MB Mac Radeon, so they could get a bigger profit margin. Then they neutered the BTO radeon by removing the S-Video out port. Now they won't let ATI sell the Radeon to consumers waiting in line with fistfulls of cash! It's moves like this that take all the surprise out of Apple's dismal stock price.

Rant finished, I'm just in a bad mood thinking about how long Radeon has been delayed.
