Thereīs an interference problem with my VOODOO 4500 PCI card, and my vendor says itīs due to compabilitiy problems with my monitor which is grey&white appe studio display "17"; Occasionally small thin lines flickers over the screen when the resolution is set to 1024 x 768 and the refresh rate is at 85 mhz. Itīs only at these settings the interference happens. The problem occured the same day after installing the card. I have reinstalled the card, tried to eliminate everything that might cause interference, such as peripherals, chords , and other electronic devices in the apartment. Iīve also tried to degauss the monitor with no results. My old ATI OEM graphics board works well at this settings. The malfunction comes and goes with longer periods in between of normal function.

This is my system:
CPU Type and Speed: B/W 350
Amount of RAM on system: 128 mb

Monitor Make and Model:
Apple Studio Display 17 inch. Grey/White.

Operating System:
Mac OS 9.0.4.

Resolution selected:
1024x768

Colour Depth selected on the video card:
32 bit, millions of colours

Refresh Rate running on the video card:
85 mhz

Product Name:
Voodoo 4500 PCI for Macintosh

Driver Version:
1.1.0
------
MacPro Quad Xeon (early -08), Macbook 2.0 Ghz (Mid -07), PowerMac G4 Quicksilver 933 Mhz, Powermac G4 Quicksilver 800 Mhz, iPod Nano 3 gen, iPod Nano 2 gen

Sorry, I can't help, but... for future reference, the 'grey and white' monitors are referred to as 'graphite'... its just easier.
People will know what you're talking about then - I thought you meant an old 'black and white' monitor (as in a monochrome display...).
Do the lines appear on settings other than 85Hz? (its hertz, not megahertz).
Do you have another monitor or a television nearby?
