How can I tell Dreamweaver MX to stop executing my PHP scripts when i am coding?
Is there a way to turn this off?

Thanks

the obvious and quick solution, is comment them out. not practical, i know, but it does the job.

i just had a good look over it and i couldn't see anything. nothing jumped out at me from the help or the support site either. well, not immediately anyway. did i miss anything?

where are you testing? local, then uploading? you could always try this:

<img src="http://www.houseofninja.com/images/ninja_php.jpg" alt=" - " />

i have to use the full path where that site is hosted, so it just comes up like that in the design view. i test locally, make sure it works, then alter the path. is that any better? saves commenting your code out, i guess

Thank you for your reply. I guess there is really no other way to turn this PHP option off.

Thanks,

I suggest a swing by Macromedia's feature request/support page. This is silly... I don't want php scripts running while I'm making them, at least not all the time.

I was looking forward to getting MX, too... this may give me a reason to delay buying it...
