Where can I find a good tutorial to learn CSS? I know HTML really well, but I don't know the first thing about CSS.

webmonkey has quite a few tutorials on the subject. easy to follow.

and of course, there is the tried and true way to learn things on the net:

steal code from people, dissect it, edit it, have fun.

There's a book out there, The XML Companion, which has a really nice chapter on CSS. It's only one chapter out of the whole book, of course, but it's really good, and it also has quite a few other emerging standards.

Also, Dave Ragget (the author of Tidy) has a good tutorial. It's very basic, but it will get you started, and you'll have enough of an understanding of CSS that learning more should not be a problem. His tutorial is at http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Guide/ ; the relevant section is "adding a touch of style."

After you have your feet under you, you'll want to check out some resources on things like browser issues. The best places for that are probably http://www.alistapart.com (which also has very good discussion boards), http://www.richinstyle.com (tons of useful information, including the best browser issue lists out there), and http://www.bluerobot.com (lots of more advances tricks, including implementations of the standard two- and three-column layouts using nothing but CSS). Also, http://www.westciv.com has some good stuff (they also make Style Master and Layour Master, two apps that you might find useful).

Thanks. I really liked Dave Ragget's tutorial. It made sense to me and was easy to follow.
