Although it is not a Mac program, it effects Mac Web Designers. Myself and another web developer have created a petition that I hope you will all sign:

This news has been out for a while now. I am considering taking legal action against not Kazaa, but eZula, the marketing drones who make the program which actually hijacks the content.

Honestly...this is why I can't stand advertising on the Internet. The marketing weasels think their ads are more important than the content, and they're even willing to hijack content to turn it into an ad. No-one from eZula asked for my permission and I'm not being paid to allow them to put ads onto my pages. This is even more sneaky and underhanded than popunder ads.

Popups, popunders, flash ads, banner ads...and now this. It's all so disgusting. I want to see an end to all commercial advertising on the Internet until a better, non-intrusive, opt-in advertising system can be developed.

Ads are what keep the net free, but it should be the SITE OWNERS choice not some software company.

Sign the petition. And get others to do the same.
