No, this site doesn't exist... but I think it should. I was going to put the site together first, but I ran into several problems:
1. I have a 56K modem at home (T1 at school, but it's summer now)
2. I'm poor
3. I'm not greatly experienced with cgi
Okay, so what's this great idea for a site you might ask. Okay, MacFunctionality.com would be a site dedicated to organizing software needs for OSX with OSX developers. The site would be broken up into several different sections, such as Educational Functionality, Business Functionality, Hardware Utilization, Peripheral Functionality, CoreOS Functionality etc. Each of these sections would have a list of different needs submitted by users (submission posted with permission of the webmaster). You click on the link for the needs, only described in brief, and a new page is generated giving a long description of the need and proposed and implemented solutions. Users could submit solutions, as long as vote for their favorite and most despised solutions.
Something like this would be a great resource for businesses and other organizations, along with developers who might need ideas for areas that need meeds met. If anyone outthere wants to take this up, I think it would be a great way to leverage the power of OS X. Any other suggestions to improve such a site are welcome.

That's a great idea ... a central location on the web that provides solutions for various problems, needs, etc.
Perhaps you should post this in the web developer forum as I'm sure most of the people there have plenty of time for such a project. I, however, don't have much free time.

Yeah, seems like that would have been a good idea, seeing as how many responses it has generated. I thought the mac community on these forums would get more excited about such an idea. Oh well.

I guess when it comes to doing work, most will shy away from it...

<sigh> Fine. Any moderators out there, move this thread to web dev where it might get the loving attention it rightfully deserves.
