A friend and I are creating a small ecommerce website.

We'd like to link the website to a database of products. I know that I can set it up using GoLive Dynamic Link for ASP, but what I don't completely understand is how my setup will interact with the database. I assume that will depend on who hosts the site.

Can anyone provide me any direction? What should I look for in a host so that I will be able to use the Dynamic linking setup in Golive.

You may want to consider Commerce CGI

Many use the software and have found it to be pretty good.


Requires Perl, so finding a host shouldn't be bad at all (or you can use Mac OS X)
