Hello, I was wondering if I can use OSX, mysql, and ultradev together. I'm planning on using Tomcat as the JSP server, but was wondering what kind of connection I should use to connect through ultradev. I installed Mark Liyanage's mysql package distribution, and was wondering if I need to install a driver on top of that, or if JDBC/ODBC connections were already supported in the package.

Ultradev cannot connect to MySQL databases. I was at a conference where Macromedia was emoing it, and they seemed surprised that anyone who uses open-source software would even want to BUY a product (UltraDev). I indicated that yes, I would love an easy to use tool to do my PHP and MySQl development and they said they'd look into it.

That would be nice. Or maybe JaneBuilder will make some progress.
