Anyone want to take a crack at helping me understand the following?

I'm listening to a 56k, MP3 stream (using QT Player) with the following data rate (kbits/sec.):

Current: varies between 0-108
Average: varies between 59-61
Maximum: varies between 131-146

Is this too much data for a 56k connection? There is no packet loss. It sounds just fine. How is this possible? What am I missing?

Thanks.

OK. Perhaps I should try another Forum. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks.
