Is it possible to add a free hit counter on a web page that is produced using Golive4 and is stored on mac.com?
I'm new to this web stuff so please be gentle!! :O)

i've noticed some mac.com homepages have counters on them, but i think that's only if you use their Homepage thing to do them. i'm 99% sure that there's no perl or php for use on that space, so you might have to look into using their free thing, or something like thecounter.com

Yeah, the hit counter on mac.com is only for pages creating using their own homepage tools. A search on google will find hundreds of other counters...

I've found one....www.darkcounter.com
It works on mac.com web sites and it does not use any cgi scrips....and its free. All you need to do is register and give the url of the page you require to be counted to them...thay give you a small bit of html to paste into your site and thats it. cool
And they have loads of different counters available
