I'm running Apache in OS X, and I wanna know how to setup a page so I or others can upload a file right to my web server. Now that I use Fire instead of AIM, this seems like the easiest way to transfer files that are too big to be emailed.

well theres tonnes of php scripts that handle uploads - try http://www.hotscripts.com

A really useful tool is phpmyexplorer, its basically a web based file server management tool, so you can see all your files on your web server, upload files and delete files etc. Its FTP in your browser.

You can try this. Uploader is the same cgi script that the guys at ResExcellence use to get submissions from the public. It's a very simple Perl CGI script. Good luck...
