I really like the content and have even aded my own huble musings to it, only thing is that its maybe a bit - plain - not a bad thing as it works and looks the same on most browsers. However a bit of colour to make the central content stand out more may not be a bad idea, just a suggestion mind, like the site other wise

thanks a bunch! the site was deliberately designed as plain as possible (to be a counterpart of many of the websites linked). an upgrade will most certainly be more pleasing to the eye.

dwith your comment, do you mean that its kind of hard to figure out what the trash web is about?

Having a valid html site would be cool; To know if your site is vaid or not use the validator

Well he's not a million miles away, and he was after comments, W3C is the holy grail, I recognise that (well most of the time ) but the 'make sure you have valid code' goes right to the core of the split that's occuring in the industry between trying to get the site to work for the tools rather than for the content, sorry about the rant, small personal irk there can you tell

And while we're on the topic, the Apple site ain't compliant neither's MacNN but that doesnt mean they're not valid sites or I won't visit them because of that!

JUST MAKES ME SO MAD

i looked into to source code and yes there are a few bugs in it. minor tyops and such. our banner exchange service is the source for most of the errors reoprted by the validator. i will look into it!

First of all: what is trashweb?
put a subtitle under the logo. just a sentence to give a quick, obvious clue to what the site is about.

i like the waste management-like color scheme, but the contradiction is that it doesn't make me want to stay on the site, so definitely try using more attractive colors ([don't] try green and orange).

that's my 2¢. great idea, btw.
Can I have that cookie?

seems like a good idea. so what would a good slogan be? <b>cleaning up the web. the internet waste site</b>? any suggestions??

we might even spice up the site a bit colorwise, although we kind of like the dull impression... its more to the eye than what you see...
