I just can't get umlaute (like ä,ö,ü,ß) to be displayed right in the program, when localized in an localizable.strings-file. I just wanted to translate an app in German, so I really need those.
Is there anybody who can help me?

No problem here... check the Format > File Encodings menu in the .strings file your working on, maybe?

This is most likely to be the problem; I have had it in the past. Ensure the file is in UTF8 format, then it should work.

Thank you, that worked! Had to set it to UTF–8!
