My friend is an ADC Student member. I told him to join so he could get his computer, and an iPod for a huge discount. Will Apple send him a copy of Jag or does he have to buy one? They already send him the OS pack I got as a select dev for 10.1. I'm just wondering if he'll get another one like I'm sure I will.

Apple claimed in one of their developer emails that everyone who gets a monthly mailing will get sent a copy of Jag. Also, from what others have said in the student mailing list, students have received every single version of OS X.

I find it surprising that Apple has not already posted 10.2 off to student developers since it would surely be advantageous to them to get all the shareware/freeware and so on working 100% on Jag. I hope they post it soon. I can't wait to start playing with it! :-)

Student ADC members are entitled to the most current version of the OS / Dev tools.

So, again, yes. But not in the August mailing ( I got mine already).
