how can i write some bytes (char array) into resource fork of a file, i.e. create a new file -> create resource fork -> write that data as a rsrc...

There are a few different options available for handling resource forks in Cocoa programs. One is to use the standard resource APIs from Carbon. However, a better choice might be to download one of the Obj-C wrappers available. Try NDResourceFork by Nathan Day, available at http://homepage.mac.com/nathan_day/.
