OK the first part oft this post... which is the major part is frames. I have a nav bar in one frame and then the content in another. This site is only 1 page. So the buttons in the nav bar simply use anchors in the second page. Now the problem is that unlike normal anchors, since I am telling it to open a page like "content.html#tables" it refreshes the content.. Every time they click on a button. So it's really slow, on the computer side, not the connection. Since everything is local. Is there any way that I can have it simply anchor the page normally? Rather than refreshing it every time?

Second part.. image alignment.. simply scandalous..

Why wasn't I told about this before? For those of you who used to be like me not knowing about this gem.. It essentially lets you have text wrap. I have been experimenting with so much crap like tables with colspan and rowspan and a bunch of nasty stuff that never even worked. Experiment with this.. Resexcellence uses it. Now I want to know what all the other variations are? I can only figure out Right and Left, the others don't make any sense. Any help or examples is appreciated

Image alignment: It is great when you want to wrap things but starts to get hairy when you want to wrap text (or put it next to) and image in any sort of pattern (see my page at http://www.localshell.com/new.asp) and you'll notice that I dont' have the same number of line breaks < b r > and new paragraphs < P > because of the alignment.

Frames: If all the links in your navigation bar open up pages in the main content area then why don't you set the base href at the top of the nav area? This way you won't have to specify the frame. # always makes the current page scroll back to the top. You may try to use client side javascript to prevent it.

If you've got code then let me know and i'll take a beter look at it instead of armchair theorizing about it..
