I'm a REAL novice with Dreamweaver and only use it update my bands site http://www.hillbillywinos.com But I am trying to edit a page and put picture thumb nails on it that can then be clicked on to the larger photo. I have 2 books on dreamweaver and nothing is mentioned anywhere. Can someone direct me to a info page or something?
thanks!!

say the images are in /images, you should create /images/thumbs. then, resize all the images you want to use, say 50x50, 60x40 or something, saving them in /images/thumbs
to link, you'd want something like this:
[a href="images/image001.jpg" height=60 width=40 alt="image description"]
[img src="images/thumbs/image001.jpg"][/a]
(obviously using <> instead of [] for your tags... stoopid vB code)
try that, see if it's what you're after

Also, be sure to set "border=0" as an attribute for all the images that are linked as philzilla mentioned, unless you want to have blue borders around the images.

Yeah, you can use the toolbar to insert images (as opposed to writing in the HTML). Once you've created the thumbnail images and set up your directories as described, simply insert the thumbnails where you want them in your page, and then link each of them to the corresponding larger image.
