well since I zapped os9 off the map. I have no
pressure sensitive drawing app. So I ask can some body
create a very simple wacom pressure tablet drawing program.

I thought I would just ask . Since I see there are so many tiny
but neat and powerful programs out there now just no drawing
yet.

I imagine it would be pretty involved because you have to interface directly with the system IO device API. It wouldn't be too easy. I've never worked in this area, and frankly don't want to, so it's off to Photoshop for me...

Doesn't Photoshop Elements 2.0 support this?

If so, thats only $89.95 at most places.

Yes, it would take time - but it's usually more than $55/hour anyway for custom software development. So I am giving you a deal.

hmm $55/hr cute. If I had 700$ I would get painter 7
but I don't. And it would take you more than 14 hours to
make the simple app anyway.

But That just brings me to a confusion. There are so many
weird apps now. I just thought that somebody would want to
make such an app already.
I have even contacted some of the designers of share ware
painting apps ( theres only about three ) and they say they will
just think about it. Hmmf...

I don't get it .

Whatever ,/.,,,..., I have asked to many times.

Erm...wrong . I just noticed a method, -[NSEvent pressure], which returns the pressure applied to the input device. With this, it would make it trivial to add pressure support to a simple drawing app (such as the one at http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/ma.../30/cocoa.html). It would take about 3 lines of code. I love Cocoa .

Scribble pad != drawing application. Sorry, but I honestly don't see the point in reinventing the wheel—why write your own drawing application when Photoshop Elements can already do it? (I know, cost, but....). Just give ChessePuff the 25 bucks .

Photoshop Elemets: $89.95, full featured too

Me: $25.00, will take a couple of days, and all it does is let you scribble.
