Hi,

I have been using Golive for a long time. It has lots of great built in features etc. Lately I have been looking at dreamweaver as it looks more powerfull when creating php pages etc. I like the clean look of dreamweaver and its tools for editing PHP files, but miss some of the panels in Golive...

My question is: What do you guys think? What are the pros/cons?

I used GoLive for about 3 years before someone convinced me to try Dreamweaver. There used to be a difference in features until the last version, with Dreamweaver's main advantage being template support and not mangling your HTML. I tried a demo of GoLive 6 because I got tired of waiting for Dreamweaver MX, and liked it much better than previous versions (GoLive 5 was an absolute disaster, IMHO). I still prefer Dreamweaver MX, now that I have it, mainly due to the interface.

Dreamweaver's interface is much more responsive on my systems than GoLive6, so I switched over.
