Well, I'm a recent switcher™, and on my PC, I used to use this free comic downloader app called Comic Reaper. Unlike apps like that that are available for OSX, Comic Reaper bases the downloading of comics either by date OR it can parse the html of the page the comic is on, and guess how to fetch the next and previous dates. In addition to that, the user is able to add new comics easily.
I'm wondering if it would be possible to create an app like this for Mac OS X in Cocoa. Myself, I don't have any experience with objective programming languages at all (except for playing around with Visual Basic when I was younger), so it would be hard for me to do it. But I thought someone here might be looking for something to do. There seems to be at least some interest for an app like this if you look at the reviews of similar ones on versiontracker etc.
If anyone would be willing to try it out, I can make icons/toolbar icons and stuff like that (that's more of my bag ).
The creator of Comic Reaper seems like a nice guy so I don't think he'd be too upset if someone borrowed his ideas
Here's a couple of snapshots of Comic Reaper, to clearify what the hell I'm talking about :
Just go here...

You're missing my point...

Why don't you contact the author of Comictastic and ask if he'll add what ever feature you want, he might consider adding it to a future update.
