Hi,

I have never used shared libraries before. Hwo can I link them in with my program? Does AppleScript Studio support them? How about just plain ANSI C++ using gcc in the terminal? How would I call it? Anything else use it? How?

Thanks!

No clue about Applescript Studio. In Project Builder, choose "Add Frameworks" from the "Project" menu and select your shared library. That's it...

From the terminal, I think you would add the "-l <path to my library>" switch to your gcc invokation. (that's "dash el").
Geekspiff - generating spiffdiddlee software since before you began paying attention.
