Ok, here's the deal. I've got a website hosted by CU-Boulder and I want to stream Quicktime Audio from it. To start, I just want to stream a couple iTunes playlists.

I've downloaded and installed both QT Server and Broadcaster. I thought I had configured the server correctly, but I can't startup any playlists. When I attempt to start a playlist it simply says, "An error occurred while starting or stopping your playlist." So helpful.

Also, when I try to access the stream from QT it says that it can't find the necessary software, and when I try to access it from iTunes it says that the server isn't accepting anymore connections.

Does anybody have any suggestions/experience with QT server? What else would you need to know to help me?

i couldn't get it to run on either iMac, or iBook. it encountered a perl error (WTF!?) and wouldn't complete the entire setup process. i think you need the Broadcaster app too. you got that there? don't go quoting me on that though, as my success rate with QTSS is currently a massive 0%
