I have a program that I made with java and c++ that compiled and ran under 10.2 and now seems to be broken as I get this message when I try to compile.

/usr/bin/gnumake
gnumake: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.

Please???

I hope that it is one of those simple - "All you have to do is tell gnumake where yout makefile is" answers.:o I need this baby running asap!

Thanx

edit: I forgot to tell everyone that I am still running 10.2.1

Do you have a makefile? Is it named makefile, Makefile, or GNUMakefile(I think , never used the GNU make specific makefile name)? Is it located in the same directory you're issuing the gnumake command in? Do you have read access to the makefile?

It's pretty hard to answer a problem when all you do is essentially tell us, "Help it's broke, please tell me how to fix it."

I have a makefile. It worked perfectly in 10.2.1 - and now it does not. no changes.

Answering the rest of the questions would really be helpful.

Well, I have the makefile labelled "Makefile" and it is in the same folder as the source.
