I have a table set up which contains text. I also have a link in there, which is quite long. I want to keep the link visible that way for people who like to type things in, so just making the visible part of the link shorter is not an option. My page is set to a certain width, and I do not want it to extend over this. The problem I keep running into is that this link, since it is so long, keeps the table wider than I want it to. Is there a way to wrap this text? It contains backslashes, so I would think that this is doable somehow. Anyone knows how to do that? Thank you,

You can set the width property of the TD tag. If you want that particular column to strecth to the length of the URL (up to a limit), then set a width for the TABLE tag and then set widths for all of the other TD tags. That way, that column will grow to accomodate the URL, but not exceed the total width of the table minus the other columns.

That is exactly what I thought woudl happen, but the table still stretches and the lines do not want to wrap...I might have some different issue that causes that then. I will investigate it some more.
Thank you,

Do the break manually.

< a href = whatever> A_Really_Long < /a> < br>
< a href = whatever> _Line_Of_Text < /a> < br>
