Last week-end I've updated My web site in order to use the power of CSS and achive a lefthanded bar menu without the use of frames.

All works well under Mozilla/Chimera. I don't have the underlying white message in IE. And have all of them in Omniweb.

Anyone know if I can get that functionnality in IE, and a better "look" in omniweb ?

OmniWeb doesn't currently support CSS. They said they NEVER will but I would be willing to bet they bend to the consumer. As far as I can tell, everything is working in IE 5.2.2 on OS X.2.2

AFAIK IE for PC doesn't properly implement the 'static' attribute for layers properly - only on IE for Mac (now THAT doesn't happen very often!)

Why don't you try using iFRAMES instead? They're implemented in the HTML 4 standard and widely understood by modern browsers.

Not that iFRAMES completely meets your needs - I'm assuming you've done things a certain way to avoid doubling up code and getting things ready for search engines. But they can still be a useful tool to get certain functionality working as planned.
Computer thez nohhh...
