No can do. Apple seems to have realized that "autorun" apps/files are a disaster waiting to happen, as they removed support for it between OS 9 and OS X.

What you can do in OS X is have a Finder window on your CD automatically open. And you can make the icons in that window big and easily clickable, and put a picture background in the window containing instructions (like "double-click here to start ->" or "drag this to your Applications folder to install"). There are utilities to make parts of this process easy: search your favorite Mac downloads site for DropDMG or FileStorm.

Actually it can be done, sort of. I did something similar for the placeholder Mac launcher for the Bandlink software. You need to be running a daemon of your own to monitor for inserts, though.

There's no way to have a CD do this on an arbitrary computer, but you can set a single computer up to run something when you insert any CD, if you're running 10.2 or later. In the "CDs and DVDs" preference pane in the system prefs, you can specify either a program or an Applescript to run when you insert a CD (or several other actions).
