After upgrade Java 1.4.1DP6 from DP8, the java version back to 1.3.1 standard.
Check it in terminal. Type 'java -version' gives me the version 1.3.1. What is wrong?

Also, how can I use the file "Java 1.4.1 DP8 Apple API Ref - 68 K'? Should I put this some where?
Thanx.

Try reading the release notes and using the utility to switch between the two versions. With pre-release sosftware, it is imperative that you read the release notes and readmes!

It's a javadoc file. Read it with JavaBrowser.

Read the Fückin' Manual
Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction.
