Hey everybody, I just had some free time and decided to update my old SmallScreenX utility – so here it is:

http://tufts.edu/~lbrich01/smallscreenx
http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/15891

new features:
- better interface
- "lock" mode to prevent unwanted moving/resizing
- saving of screens
- "control" mode to make other windows automatically fit inside smallscreen frame
- bunch of other stuff (rewritten completely)

if you find any bugs, let me know

thanks!

Here I go again with a feature request; I've been working on a web site today, using SSX and would like to have just a bit more control over the dimming feature.

In my workflow I like to turn it on/off for a sec every now and then, to focus () on the thing I'm working on.

The 'enable dimming' toggle would be more quickly accessable as one of those window rim buttons, so could you consider moving it there?

TIA,

J
